Shriya Saran's comeback Kannada film has got her busy touring the entire country. As one of the mainstays of the pre-release promotions of Kabzaa, Shriya has been partnering with her fellow Kabzaa team members in their sincere attempt to spread the word about the film and in the same vein, she has also been speaking extensively about her experience working on the magnum project.

In Kabzaa, Shriya Saran plays the role of Madhumathi, a character that brims with elegance and resplendence, aside from being a crucial element in the storyline. By virtue of this role, she makes a comeback to Kannada after a gap of 10 years.

In all her recent media interactions, Shriya has been singing praises for her Kabzaa team and has said on multiple occasions that she feels really lucky to be part of such a high-profile project. Be it director R. Chandru or co-star Upendra, the Drishyam 2 actor has been showering compliments on her teammates: in a recent interview with a media outlet, Shriya Saran divulged why she genuinely feels that Upendra is every bit the 'Real Star' that his fans refer to him as.

"From an outsider's perspective, when I first met him [Upendra], I was blown away. First, they showed me his showreel (from Kabzaa) and I am like 'woh! How good is he looking!'. And then when I went on the set, we were waiting for him to come and he walked in but he was behind me - and everyone at that point was like 'sshh, sshh, he's here'. I am like 'who's here and why are you so scared!'. But it was not fear, it was respect. It's the respect that people have for him - he's so real on sets that you can't even tell that he is a superstar. Like the way he is with everyone. Let it be the cameraman, the assistant director, the spot boy or the producer, it's just the same amount of respect. And that's why I keep repeating myself that he understands what people around him are giving to the film. And maybe that's because of where he started, as an assistant director, he is able to respect everyone and that respect cannot be fake. It has to be Real," said Shriya in the interview.

Upendra and Shriya Saran, along with Kiccha Sudeep, Nawab Shah and others, are expected to dazzle everyone on the big screens from March 17th, when Kabzaa releases in theatres worldwide.
