Pruthvi Ambaar has an exciting 2023 to look forward to as an actor. Having garnered fame mainly for his boy-next-door image in romantic dramas and comedies, Pruthvi's upcoming few films will see him dabbling in a variety of roles, seemingly in the pursuit to change things up. One such attempt is the intriguing film Matsya Gandha in which he plays a gritty police officer and will be seen in a rather dynamic avatar.

Sporting a thick moustache and a crisp look, which includes a chiselled physique, Pruthvi Ambaar looks like he means business as the cop in Matsya Gandha. His demeanour too has evolved to be more assured and assertive which comes in stark contrast to his previous on-screen appearances. The Dia actor has been teasing his followers with glimpses and stills of his new look from the sets of the film and safe to say that everyone's mighty impressed with what they see!

"Wow!! Whatta transformation," wrote an Instagram user who was quite charmed by Pruthvi's latest look

"You look Mexican in this new look," said another user.

"Kadak look bro," said a follower, echoing the sentiments of many others who expressed the desire to watch the film on the big screen, at the earliest.

As far as Matsya Gandha is concerned, Pruthvi Ambaar describes the upcoming film as a gripping realistic tale that is essentially set in and around Honnavara, Kumta and those regions. Devaraj Poojary of Kinare fame directs the film with Gopalakrishna Deshpande essaying another important role.

On the other hand, Pruthvi has multiple films slated to release over the next few months and will be seen in diverse roles - he has Sukesh Shetty's retro drama Dooradarshana, the romantic drama For Regn. which also stars Milana Nagaraj, RJ Mayuraa's Aba Daba Jaba, and the anthology Pentagon wherein he stars alongside Kishore (of Kantara fame) in the segment directed by Guru Deshpande.
