The first season of Kadak Meethi is set to start streaming on Oho Gujarati on May 20 and the makers have now released the trailer of the show that explores the cute relationship between a mother and a daughter.

The trailer introduces us to Mayuri, a mom who struggles with technology; someone who keeps her daughter Shivangi’s call on hold as she fidgets with the remote control. She even doles out ‘typical mommy’ advice to her daughter, by ordering her to keep her phone close enough to pick up, but not near her head because that could cause cancer.

The video even ventures to every mother’s favourite topic - wedding - with Mayuri (Aarti Patel) finding a prospective groom for her daughter (Aarohi). As it ends, we witness how Shivangi taunts Mayuri saying that she has a solution to everything. Instead, the latter says she doesn’t, or else the tap wouldn’t be leaking for three days.

Talking about the release of Kadak Meethi, Abhishek Jain, Oho Gujarati’s co-founder said, “It is a tale of most households. With the passage of time, most parent-child relationships usually develop into a deep friendship; hence I believe this series will not only connect with the audience, but also help them reminisce and further strengthen their bond.”

Oho Gujarati had earlier released their first show Vitthal Teedi, which has Pratik Gandhi in the lead and was directed by Abhishek. “I wish to thank our audience for the immense support and wonderful reception extended towards Oho Gujarati and our maiden show, Vitthal Teedi. We seek the same continued support from our audience for the shows we have in the pipeline,” he said.
