Kadak Mitthi season 2: Aarti Patel, Aarohi’s quarrel reaches election season - watch the trailer

Aarti Patel and her real-life daughter Aarohi are back! They promise twice the fun with their web series Kadak Mitthi 2. In a plot set amidst a by-election, the mother-daughter duo continues to amuse with their crazy antics.

Just like any other regular mom, Shivangi (Shivu)’s mother Mayuri is possessive about her but also cool at the same time. Shivu, who works in Mumbai, terribly misses her family, especially her mother, who is in Ahmedabad. Mayuri, however, motivates Shivu to stay in Mumbai.

The two catch up on calls often, especially when there is a cup of fresh tea involved. This time around, they talk about by-elections, which leaves them in a dilemma.

Mayuri gives Shivu every gossip and in the process, happens to reveal how the election season benefits them since they get gas for free in their house. In turn, Shivu calls her mom an ‘uninformed, irresponsible citizen.’ However, unlike other moms, Mayuri simply asks Shivu to stop taunting her.

Clearly, the mother-daughter bond from the first season is intact and probably deeper with the second season. More can be said about the show once it releases on Oho Gujarati on July 20 at 7 pm.
