Kaduva teaser Twitter reactions: Prithviraj’s action entertainer draws mixed reaction from fans

Shaji Kailas was one of the most popular directors in Malayalam cinema during the turn of the century and has kept the viewers occupied with fiery action entertainers. The director is set to return to Malayalam cinema after a hiatus with Kaduva starring Prithviraj in the lead. 

The movie’s makers have now released a second teaser of the actioner, and fans have already taken to social media to express their opinions. Twitter users are divided on their opinion about the teaser, with some fans stating that they are not impressed, with one even comparing it with Mohanlal’s latest dud, Aaraattu. 

While there are a few disappointed fans on Twitter, there is also a section of users who have tweeted out their excitement for the upcoming movie. Some seemed to have been impressed with the short teaser jam packed with action and mass, even sharing their excitement for the character Prithviraj is playing. 

While fans have had mixed reactions towards the teaser, the background score used in the video seems to be receiving a lot of flak. Users are pointing out that the music, composed by Jakes Bejoy, does not work.

Backed by Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames, the movie also stars Vivek Oberoi, Samyuktha Menon, Seema, Vijayaraghavan, Saikumar, and Priyanka Nair in important roles. 

The movie, which will be Shaji Kailas’ first Malayalam movie since 2013, is set to hit theatres on June 30.
