Kaduva: Vivek Oberoi concludes filming for the Prithviraj Sukumaran-led film

Vivek Oberoi's forthcoming multilingual film Kaduva, starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, has concluded filming. Following the success of Lucifer, which became one of Malayalam cinema's biggest hits, this is Prithviraj and Oberoi's second collaboration. Shaji Kailas is directing the forthcoming flick. According to reports, Vivek would play a power-addled adversary in the film.

Earlier, during an exclusive interaction with OTTplay, Oberoi recounted how he earned a role in Kaduva. The actor revealed that Prithviraj had told him about the scenario when he called him for Kaduva, in which the Company actor told the Malayalam actor-filmmaker that he was packed and over-committed. However, Prithviraj convinced Vivek by saying that he only needed 26 days and needed them right now.

Thus, the Inside Edge actor decided to juggle his entire schedule to complete it. Vivek said yes to Kaduva because he enjoyed the plot, the conflict between these two powerful men, and also the whole testosterone clash between two people with very different mindsets.

Vivek also lauded Shaji Kailas. The actor said that it was a wonderful opportunity for him, and it also gave him the chance to work with the famous Shaji Kailas, who is a phenomenal director. Oberoi explained that this must be the filmmaker's 46th or 47th film, and he's made some amazing ones. Santosh Sivan and Ravi K Chandran, two of the most well-known DOPs, all began their careers with him; they came from Shaji Kailas' school. Working with someone like that was also a fantastic experience for the actor.

Kaduva is a film written by Jinu V. Abraham that is set to be released in 2022. Meanwhile, Vivek, on the other hand, was recently seen in the third season of Inside Edge.
