Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, starring Kajol, Salman Khan and Arbaaz Khan, completes 26 years today (March 27). Marking the occasion, Kajol posted a collection of stills from the movie on her Instagram handle, sending fans on a trip down the memory lane.

Taking to Instagram, Kajol shared a collection of pictures, featuring herself, Salman Khan, Dharmendra and Arbaaz Khan from the making of Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. She captioned the post, “When tying ur hair in a plait was a symbol of an innocent girl #26yearsofpyaarkiyatodarnakya.”

The first picture features Kajol and Salman gazing lovingly into each other's eyes. While Kajol looks pristine in a white ethnic ensemble, paired with white studs and a braid, Salman sported a black and yellow jacket, with a cool hairdo. The second picture showcases a teary-eyed Kajol with Dharmendra, who too looks sad. The third and final picture showcases Kajol applying tilak on Arbaaz’s forehead. Kajol is dressed in a red and white ombre ethnic ensemble, while Arbaaz is wearing a minimal white kurta.

Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya cast and plot

Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya is a 1998 film, helmed by actor Sohail Khan who is the younger brother of Salman and Arbaaz. The film revolves around the life of Suraj (played by Salman) and Muskan (Kajol). Suraj falls in love with Muskan but is disliked by her brother, Vishal (played by Arbaaz). Suraj then proves his love for Muskan by winning the hearts of Vishal and his uncle (played by Dharmendra). The film became the fourth highest-grossing film of the year. Before Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Salman and Kajol had shared screen space in Karan Arjun (1995) and later in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998).
