Sacnilk claims that the film made roughly Rs 4.75 crore, surpassing the opening day receipts of Bazooka and Dominic and The Ladies' Purse. With more than 102 shows added on December 5, particularly evening and night shows, it is anticipated to gain more traction this weekend. The Malayalam megastar hasn't had a box office success this year, with Dominic and The Ladies' Purse earning just Rs 1.75 crore on its opening day and Bazooka earning Rs 3.7 crore, so this figure is significant. These films are also yet to have an OTT debut. On the first day, Kalamkaval had already made over Rs 1.25 crore in gross pre-sales.

Mammootty's major comeback to the big screen is not receiving the tremendously good response that fans had anticipated.
