Kalari training will boost physical as well as mental health: Indian 2 actor Kajal Aggarwal

Kajal Aggarwal is preparing to work on Indian 2, which stars Kamal Haasan in the lead. As a fitness enthusiast, the actor believes in sweating it out! Kajal meets her fitness objectives like a beast, and her social media pages are full of clips, from rigorous gym sessions. From high-intensity workouts to yoga, Kajal swears by all of it.

She has been learning Kalaripayattu for over three years now. Taking to Instagram, Kajal posted a video of her during one such session.

“Kalaripayattu is an ancient Indian martial art that translates into practice in the arts of the battlefield.” Further, she added, it empowers the seeker physically as well as mentally. In addition to practising Kalari, Kajal Aggarwal, who gave birth just four months ago, has been taking horseback riding classes.

Kalari is a fantastic technique to hone the deft agility of a warrior while preserving the beautiful beauty of dance. Balance, strength, and flexibility will all be enhanced. It also teaches you how to defend yourself.

In its purest form, Kalari is a sort of self-discipline rather than aggression. It is intended to instil modesty and a grasp of physical movement.

The cast of Indian 2 includes Gulshan Grover, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samuthirakani, Bobby Simha, Guru Somasundaram, Delhi Ganesh, Jayaprakash, and Vennela Kishore.

After a long break, Kamal Haasan began filming for the final scenes. Indian 2 is the sequel to Shankar-1996 Kamal's vigilante action film Indian and pictures from the first day of the shooting were posted by the actor-politician, on his official social media accounts.

Meanwhile, Shankar had announced that he would be shooting Indian 2 and RC15, simultaneously. The director shot a schedule of RC15 (featuring Ram Charan) for two weeks earlier this month.
