Kamal Haasan's Vikram released on June 3 and has been running to packed houses

Kamal Haasan's latest offering, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Vikram has been running to packed houses. Now, Kalidas Jayaram, who acted in the film, says that it feels surreal that he was part of a Kamal Haasan film. Taking to his social media handle, Kalidas wrote, "proud moment for me to be a small part of this amazing film #vikram overwhelmed by the love and response for #prapanjan Thank you @Dir_Lokesh sir for this鉂わ笍sure this is just a start ;) #Andavar @ikamalhaasan sir all this still feels unreal 鉂わ笍 #forevergrateful for t opportunity (sic)."
Gayathrie Shankar, who plays a crucial role in the film, too wrote on her social media page, "Words cannot express how much #vikram means to me! The love and appreciation in the last 3 days has been overwhelming! 馃 It's a dream come true, to be a part of a Kamal sir project! (somebody pinch me please!) To work alongside #FahadhFaasil (this man and his eyes!! ) ! (sic)."
While Arjun Das had penned a heartfelt letter on his experience working in the film, the film's director Lokesh Kanagaraj, too, said that the love he has been receiving for the film was overwhelming. He wrote on his social media page, "I haven鈥檛 been this emotional ever.The acceptance u鈥檝e showed #Vikram and me has been so overwhelming.I don鈥檛 know how i鈥檓 gonna repay you guys for all this love.Ever grateful to @ikamalhaasan sir and my amazing people. So moved. Love you all (sic). Lokesh had also called directing Kamal Haasan a dream come true. In a letter penned earlier, Lokesh had written ," It's a great honour to have the opportunity to direct you, Sir (Kamal Haasan). This film is a gift to you from a fanboy! I will cherish these moments forever! The digital rights of the film have been snapped by Disney + Hotstar.
