Kalinga is a low-budget film that caught the attention of one and all. The fantasy drama was written, produced, and directed by Dhruva Vaayu and was released on September 13, 2024. Though the entire team was new, they worked hard and made a passable film. But as Kalinga did not have any popular faces, it could not sustain itself at the box office.

We have now come to know that Aha has bagged the digital rights to the film for a very low price and will make the film available for streaming on October 4, 2024. The news is that the makers have landed solid profit with this OTT deal from Aha. Kalings was high on graphics and won the hearts of many.
Young director Dhruva Vaayu showcased the film with decent thrills but the pace and second half were a bit slow. He feels that Kalinga would make heads turn when it comes out on OTT as the subject suits the sensibilities of the OTT audience in a big way. He said, "I am very happy to reveal that the digital rights have been bagged by Aha for a fancy price."
"No Telugu film to date has touched the subject that my film has and I am super confident that Kalinga will become a talking point after its release on Aha," said Dhruva Vaayu. Pragya Nayan plays the female lead in this film which has romance, horror, thrills, and comedy set up in a very interesting manner.
Kalinga has been produced by Deepthi Kondaveeti and has been made on a low budget. Well, we need to see how the film fares when it comes out on Aha on October 4, 2024.
