Kalyanam Kamaneeyam: Every woman will relate to my character says Priya Bhavani Shankar

Kalyanam Kamneeyam is one of the most awaited films of this season and will hit the screens tomorrow in the Telugu states. The film directed by Anil Kumar deals with the story of a very successful woman and her jobless husband played by Santosh Soban. Young heroine, Priya Bhavani Shankar gets a meaty role to play in this family drama that has been produced by UV Concepts.

With this film, Priya is also making her Tollywood debut and is excited as much as she is anxious about the film's release tomorrow and says " I play Shruti, who is someone your sister, your wife, your daughter, and your mother will relate to. She is a woman you have all met in real life."

When asked how she carried off such a tough role in her debut Telugu film, Priya says "I am much like Shruti in real life. I can say she is 90% the real me. As such, I didn't find playing her challenging at all. Moreover, this is a feel-good film that is my kind of cinema. I am eagerly waiting to know if I will be viewed by the Telugu audience."

Shruthi has already made heads turn in Telugu even before the release of her debut film. She will be seen in Naga Chaitanya's 'Dhootha' this year and there is young hero Satyadev's 26th film in the making.
