Composer AR Rahman shared a picture with Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan at their recent meeting at the Cannes Film Festival

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and Academy award-winning composer AR Rahman had a reunion of sorts at the Cannes International Film Festival. The 75th edition of the festival kickstarted on Tuesday (May 17). The composer, shared a picture with the Kamal Haasan at the event, and soon it became viral on social media. Fans called the picture, 'a reunion of legends' and 'two legends in a frame', to name a few. AR Rahman had scored music for a number of Kamal Haasan films like Indian, and Tenali.
A little while ago, AR Rahman had shared a picture with his wife Saira Banu, who is the co-writer of his debut directorial venture, Le Musk. He captioned the video, "With my co-writer for Le-musk馃槏 @festivaldecannes #enroute." Rahman is at the Cannes for the premiere of his virtual reality film Le Musk. The film that incorporates motion, music and scent in the narrative, is said to provide the audience a cinematic sensory experience. The composer had even shared a sneak peek of the screening.
Le Musk revolves around the tale of an orphaned heiress Juliet Merdinian, who is also a part-time musician. The heiress has a superpower and constant companian- the musk scent. The film was shot in a span of mere 13 days using 14 cameras and the post-production involved around 10 VFX studios from around the world. The portions were canned in Rome. The star cast for the film comprises Nora Arnezeder of Army of the Dead fame, Gur Burnet of Oppenheimer fame, Munirih Grace and Mariam Zohrabyan.
Rahman had earlier shared a picture with the entire team and thanked them for their faith in him. He had shared the same on his social media page, "My amazing Lemusk army ..really grateful to my faithful team ,who believed in my vision and gave their precious time to work on this project! @festivaldecannes @_akt_ @srghvn @hashimzain @kdoucette10 (sic)."
