Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan's upcoming film, Indian 2 is one of the most-awaited movies across the country. However, the movie faced numerous challenges during its production for over three years as the possibility of the film seeing the light of day remained uncertain. Thanks to the relentless efforts of Kamal and director Shankar, the film is now in the post-production phase, with Kamal recently completing the dubbing for his lines.

During a recent screening of the rushes, Kamal Haasan was reportedly filled with immense satisfaction and belief in the project. According to a film journalist closely associated with the Tamil film industry, Kamal expressed his joy after watching the rushes of Indian 2. The journalist shared, "Kamal saw Indian 2 and his confidence in Shankar grew massively. He firmly believes that this movie will take Indian cinema to another level and has been expressing his excitement to Shankar. Kamal firmly believes that Indian 2 will set a new benchmark for mainstream movies in India."

There is a strong buzz that Kamal has opined that Indian 2 will surpass the tremendous success of even the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema. The film entertainment handle Cinemapatti tweeted, "#Baahubali, #Kgf are nothing in front of #Indian2 says @ikamalhaasan to @shankarshanmugh after watching the rushes of the film."

Kamal's belief in the potential of Indian 2 has heightened expectations among fans and industry insiders. With his track record of delivering impactful performances and choosing projects that push boundaries, if Kamal predicts a big blockbuster, it is highly likely to become a reality.

Kamal last year delivered the biggest commercial hit in his career spanning six decades with Vikram. Written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the movie went on to earn about Rs 400 crore from its worldwide ticket sales.

Kamal is soon expected to join the sets of director Mani Ratnam's next.
