Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan looks dapper and deadly in the latest photo he posted on his Instagram page. A low-angle shot of Kamal sitting at a fancy restaurant in front of a wine glass is a sight for sore eyes. Dressed in black coupled with black round sunglasses, Kamal strikes a menacing pose. He shared the picture with the caption reading "Good afternoon" in Chinese.

It seems Kamal posted the picture on his Instagram account to commemorate the successful completion of the Taipei schedule of Indian 2. The film's director Shankar also shared a picture of himself standing before a skyscraper in a foreign country to announce the completion of the schedule. "Bye Bye Taipei #indian2 P.C," Shankar tweeted.

The cast and crew of Indian 2 last week flew to Taipei for the shoot. The production of the movie is going on at a brisk pace. The movie's fate remained uncertain for over two years due to various reasons. The production of Indian 2 came to a sudden halt during its shooting schedule in February 2020. The reason behind this abrupt halt was a tragic accident that occurred on the set, where three crew members lost their lives, and several others were injured. Following this, Shankar and Lyca Production had a fallout due to several reasons. Their disagreements also resulted in court battles.

Indian 2 was put on the back burner and its cast members moved on to other projects. While Kamal produced and acted in Vikram, which became one of the biggest earners of Indian cinema in 2022, Shankar started shooting Game Changer with Telugu superstar Ram Charan.

Thanks to the success of Vikram, Indian 2 was revived with the help of Red Giant Movies.
