Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's latest offering Vikram has completed a 50-day run in the theatres of Karnataka. A poster of the same has been doing the rounds on social media. Vikram, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, hit screens on June 3, and since then has been running to packed houses. Vikram is an action thriller, written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and has Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi playing the lead. Suriya makes a special appearance in the film. It has emerged as one of the highest grossers of a Kamal Haasan film.
The film recently had its digital release on Disney + Hotstar and received the highest ever opening weekend viewership, subscription and watch time. Simply South had shared that the film recently set the record for the most watched film in no time on Simply South. Their social media post read, "Record. Record. Recoorrdd. 馃挜 #Vikram becomes the MOST WATCHED FILM in no time on Simply South. BIGGEST OPENING with RECORD STREAMING MINUTES smashed every other existing record. Vikram had also made it to the list of the most popular Indian films of 2022.

The supporting cast for the film includes Narain, Chemban Jose Vinod, Kalidas Jayaram, Gayathrie Shankar, Santhana Bharathi, Gowtham Sundararajan, Ramesh Thilak, Elango Kumaravel and Vasanthi to name a few. Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander. Cinematography is by Girish Gangadharan and editing is by Philomin Raj. The team recently had a grand success meet in Chennai, celebrating the great run of the film.
