Kammattam is Zee5’s first original Malayalam series, and the narrative is inspired by real incidents from central Kerala.
The series follows a team of police officers as they probe the death of Samuel Umman, (played by noted director-actor Jeo Baby). The investigation, which is led by Inspector Antonio George ( Sudev Nair), leads to exposing a financial fraud linked to a cooperative bank.
Ajay Vasudev, Jins Baskar, and Akhil Kavalayoor, play other key roles in the series, along with Bigg Boss 6 winner Sreerekha, Arun Sol and Jordy Poojar.
