Kanchan Mullick and Sreemoyee Chattoraj soak in the spirit of ‘Gaye Holud’ | Exclusive photos here

Kanchan Mullick and Sreemoyee Chattoraj are all set to tie the knot on March 2. The actor and the actress soaked up the spirit of the Gaaye Holud ceremony on the morning of their wedding.

Celebrity photographer Tathagata Ghosh and his team were in charge of the wedding photography. Here are some exclusive photos from the venue. 

In the photos, Sreemoyee is seen in a yellow sari with floral traditional headgear. Kanchan, on the other hand, is seen in a white vest. Both of them are smeared with holud (turmeric paste). The bride and groom are also seen surrounded by their close family members and friends.

Kanchan and Sreemoyee got married officially through a registry on February 14, a couple of days after the actor was granted a divorce from his ex-wife. On March 6, there will be a reception where their friends from Tollywood will be in attendance.

The speculations about Kanchan and Sreemoyee’s relationship emerged in 2021 after the actor and his former wife, actress Pinky Banerjee, got into an ugly spat. While Kanchan alleged that the actress was extorting money from him, the latter accused him of 'misbehaviour'. A number of complaints were lodged at police stations in Kolkata.

It took years for Kanchan and Pinky to finally get a divorce. The court granted them a divorce on February 10. On February 14, Kanchan and Sreemoyee tied the knot. That was the first time both of them officially admitted to their relationship. Earlier, it was their photos together on a number of occasions, including pujas, that fanned the speculations over their relationship.
