Kanchan Mullick joins Dev’s campaign trail – here is what they say

The General Election is just around the corner and campaigns for the candidate are going in full swing. A few days back, Kanchan Mullick – the MLA of Uttarpara – went to the election campaign of the Parliamentary candidate Kalyan Banerjee. However, Kalyan asked him to leave the campaign trail. He said that village women were reacting to seeing Kanchan. But that insult is past now. Dev asked Kanchan to come along with him to Ghatal to campaign for his election. Kanchan came and showered praise on Dev.

The reporters asked Kanchan about Kalyan Banerjee. Kanchan replied, “I am a friend if you extend your hand. I am a TMC worker. I will go to any candidate who will call me. I will campaign for him if I am asked.”

Kanchan said, “Dipak Adhikari is contesting from the seat. I want him to win with a huge margin because of his work.” He further added that he treats Dev as his brother. “I call him my younger brother. I told him that people love him and they are by his side. They will again make you victorious with their love. He drew me with his love. It remains, the rest does not,” said the actor.

Kanchan campaigned in the Mohanpur area of Keshpur, belonging to the Ghatal constituency. Dev introduced Kanchan as his friend. Dev said about Kanchan, “I thought everyone would be happy if Kanchanda came. The workers will be inspired. Everybody loves him.” They went to a temple and offered puja.
