Ali Fazal is definitely enjoying his moments under the sun. After having started off with ‘humble beginnings’ as Joy lobo in the Aamir Khan-Sharman Joshi- R Madhavan starrer ‘3 Idiots’, Ali Fazal’s career has now skyrocketed into Hollywood as well. Ali Fazal, who is presently enoyoing the best of both the worlds (Bollywood as well as Hollywood) is one happy man these days. While on one hand, his film ‘The Underbug’ has received an extremely positive response at the ‘Slamdance Film Festival’ in Los Angeles during its international premiere. Besides acting, Alia Fazal has also donned the hat of a producer for this film. On the other hand, his other international film ‘Kandahar’ has been carrying exceptional reports much before its release.

Speaking of the film ‘Kandahar’, the film is all set to release in US today. Ali Fazal, who plays the role of Kahil in the film, recently took to social media to share images from the sets of the film ‘Kandahar’. After sharing the photographs, Ali Fazal captioned it stating, ‘Behind some greatness is always a director orchestrating it all. Kandahar hits hard today. North America. I cannot thank you both enough. Ric for bringing me on board this journey. And Mr Gerard Butler, for all things notorious on and off camera… (and much more) and to the entire crew of Kandahar on sets and off sets. You people are the real heroes’.

As for the film ‘Kandahar’, after being released in USA today, its being reported that, the film is expected to release in India in a few weeks. ‘Kandahar’ has been directed by Ric Roman Waugh and has been shot extensively in the Al Ula region in Saudi Arabia. Besides Ali Fazal, the film stars the Hollywood superstar Gerard Butler alongwith an array of stars including Navid Negahban, Bahador Foladi, Nina Toussaint-White, Vassilis Koukalani, Mark Arnold, Corey Johnson, Ravi Aujla, Ray Haratian, Tom Rhys Harries and Travis Fimmel in all-important roles.
