On June 16, Prime Video will host the world digital premiere of Kandahar, a thrilling American action thriller. Ric Roman Waugh is the director of the movie, which stars Gerard Butler, Navid Negahban, Ali Fazal, Bahador Foladi, Nina Toussaint-White, Vassilis Koukalani, Mark Arnold, Corey Johnson, and Abdullah Alnaji. Kandahar is an English film with subtitles in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, produced by Thunder Road Pictures, G-BASE, Capstone Studios, and MBC Studios.

Mitchell LaFortune's Kandahar takes viewers on an action-packed excursion deep into hazardous territory in Afghanistan, following the narrative of an undercover CIA man named Tom Harris (Gerard Butler). After an intelligence breach reveals his true name and objective, he and his Afghan interpreter Mo (Navid Negahban) must make their way to an extraction site in Kandahar while evading the elite special forces squad assigned to track them down. In the film, Ali Fazal plays Kahil, a man who plays a deadly game of cat and mouse with Tom Harris. Based on the experiences of a real-life military intelligence officer, this film is a work of fiction.

According to Manish Menghani, Director of Content Licensing at Prime Video, India, they strive to make their clients happy in every way they can. He is pleased to share that the June 16 premiere of the Hollywood action flick Kandahar will take place exclusively on Prime Video India. The film will also be available for Indian consumers to watch in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu in addition to the original English version. The movie is a terrific addition to their wide variety of English-language films for local customers. Indian audiences have even more reason to check out this action flick thanks to Gerald's fantastic performance and Ali, who has gained considerable appreciation for his work in Mirzapur.
