Kanagana Ranut is known to speak her mind. The Dhaakad actor doesn't shy away from expressing her views on a range of topics and often takes to her social media pages to voice her opinions about current events.

Now, the actor has revealed that there is a cost to being so vocal.

In her latest Instagram Story, Kangana shared an interview of Twitter head Elon Musk, the headline of which read, "I'll say what I want, and if the consequence of that is losing money, so be it."

In a message that accompanied the screenshot, Kangana revealed that she lost 20-25 brand endorsements, which meant losing out on ₹30-40 crore for "speaking for Hinduism, against politicians/anti nationals/tukde gang".

She added that even though she lost out on a lot of money, she is "free".

I appreciate Elon because everyone displays only weaknesses, at least rich person should not care for money...I see those more rich they get deprived they become..."

Kangana's last release was the 2022 film Dhaakad. This year, she has a slew of films lined up, which include Tejas, Tiku Weds Sheru, Emergency, and Chandramukhi 2.
