Kangana Ranaut, who is no stranger to controversy, has expressed her opinions on AR Rahman’s old revelation about him being away from Bollywood. While talking about it, the actress also took a dig at star kids, accusing them of bullying and harassing outsiders in the industry.
In an old interview, the musical maestro had cited a gang working against him and spreading rumours as the reason he was more involved in Tamil films than Hindi films. Responding to this, Kangana posted on social media, suggesting that star kids grow up being obsessed with talent and their parents applaud their every word and move until a really gifted person shows up and challenges everything they ever believed. She added that these star kids then “gang up' to get rid of outsiders, bullying and harassing them in the process.
She tweeted, "Bolly kids grow up being obsessed with talent, their parents applauded their every word /move and they too start to believe that lie, until a really gifted person shows up, smacking them right in their faces and raising the bar high it challenges everything they ever believed”.
She added, "To be true, and they succumb to what all undeserving, immature, entitled people succumb to in such a situation (jealousy)They "GANG UP" bully and harass even kill those who they see as gifted, Amadeus is a film about this, my most favourite film.”
Priyanka Chopra's recent statements about her move to Hollywood while promoting her upcoming film Citadel have also made headlines. In response to this, Kangana claimed that producer Karan Johar had banned Priyanka from Bollywood due to her friendship with Shah Rukh Khan. Composer Amaal Malik also weighed in, sharing insights into the campaigns and bootlicking culture of Bollywood.
