Apart from her directorial venture Emergency, the actress will be seen in P Vasu’s Chandramukhi 2
Kangana Ranaut currently has 2.9m followers on Twitter
Whether she is on the microblogging site or banned from it, Padma Shri awardee Kangana Ranaut has often been in the news for her interactions and posts on Twitter. Speaking of the latest, the National Award-winning actress and filmmaker - who is now gearing up for her next release Emergency, a biographical drama film, in which she is playing former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi - has recently said that she would prefer not too many people seeing her personal conversation with her fans. The actress currently has 2.9m followers on Twitter.
This came as a response to a certain Twitter user suggesting that Kangana being “a top actress”, should also “buy fake followers”. Tagging the actress’ official handle, Carla (@Estersupermacy) wrote: “Seriously @KanganaTeam you are top actress you should also buy fake followers like other actresses you deserve better than this 🤌💟”.
As a response to that, the Thalaivii star said, “No no I don’t want too many people to see my personal communication with my fans only those who are deserving. Even if they become less it’s better …. Lord Krishna has said anything of value you must never offer unless asked for … there are consequences to such an act of irresponsibility…”.
Kangana’s reply won her appreciation from her fans. “Exactly, and why need fake followers she is the real person in the outer world and inner too ..much love”, said one user, while another added, “That’s what make you different from others. This is the reason we admire you”.
On the work front, Kanagana will also be seen in P Vasu’s much talked-about Chandramukhi 2, which is a sequel to Tamil horror-comedy film Chandramukhi, featuring Rajinikanth and Jyothika. In the film, Kangana will portray the character of a court dancer. Meanwhile, in Emergency - which is based on the 1977 Indian Emergency, she will feature alongside Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry and Milind Soman.
