A frequent user of social media, Kangana Ranaut recently reflected on the period when Aamir Khan was her best friend. The actor uploaded a clip from an episode of Aamir's TV show, Satyameva Jayate, on her Instagram Story. In the video, Kangana and Aamir can be seen chatting. She discussed how she deliberately avoided Bollywood item songs after seeing a little girl dance to one during the concert.

Kangana said in the caption that Aamir served as her mentor but that things changed once she got into a beef with Hrithik Roshan. The actor stated on her Instagram story that there are moments when she goes back to when Aamir was her best buddy. She has no idea what happened to those days. Before Hrithik brought the lawsuit against her, Aamir taught her, showed her how much he valued her, and influenced many of his decisions. Kangana added that they then made it apparent who they were supporting: one woman versus the whole industry.

The long-running feud between Kangana and Hrithik is well-known in B-town. According to Kangana's claims in past interviews, the two supposedly started dating when he was still married to his ex-wife Sussanne Khan. She said they were dating, but Hrithik has always denied it.

Meanwhile, Kangana will appear in Chandramukhi 2 in the titular role. The sequel to the hugely successful Tamil horror comedy film Chandramukhi, directed by P. Vasu, starred Rajinikanth and Jyothika in the lead roles. Kangana will play a dancer in the king's court who was renowned for her beauty and dance prowess in Chandramukhi 2.

In addition, Kangana will appear in the forthcoming historical drama Emergency, which she is also directing on her own for the first time. The actor plays the eponymous character of the late politician in the movie Emergency, which is based on the life of former prime minister Indira Gandhi. In addition to Kangana, the movie also features important performances by Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Vishak Nair, and Shreyas Talpade.

She will also appear in Tejas, a movie in which she plays a pilot for the Indian Air Force. The movie has yet to have its official release date announced.
