Actor Kangana Ranaut has given a glowing review to Christopher Nolan’s latest biographical thriller Oppenheimer. She revealed that she experienced "cinematic orgasm" as it combined both physics and politics.

In a recent Instagram post, the outspoken actress shared her exhilaration for the film, stating, "Christopher Nolan’s best work so far … Most important film of our time… I am so excited I just didn’t want it to end … it has everything I deeply love, I am passionate about Physics and politics … For me this was like a cinematic orgasm… beyond wonderful!!"

Kangana's enthusiasm for Oppenheimer was evident as she engaged her fans in a selfie video where she discussed the movie's captivating storyline. She highlighted the overarching theme of "nationalism vs humanity," a subject that seemed to have resonated deeply with her.

“The theme of the film is that when your nationalism rises, it precedes your religion; but when your humanity rises, it precedes your nationalism and you become a problem for the system. And the system that built you, starts disintegrating you. My favourite part is the reference to Srimad Bhagavad Gita and Lord Vishnu when he channelises his inner Vishnu. Go watch it… it’s a lovely film,” she expressed in the video.

Oppenheimer, which delves into the complex life of renowned physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer and his role in the development of the atomic bomb, had earlier sparked a controversy in India due to a sex scene, which was intertwined with recitations from an ancient Sanskrit scripture, believed to be the Bhagavad Gita.

Despite the controversy, Cillian Murphy, who has given a terrific performance as Oppenheimer, defended the scene as integral to the narrative . He acknowledged the awkwardness that comes with filming such scenes, saying, "Listen, no one likes doing them, they're the most awkward possible part of our job. But sometimes you have to get on with it."
