Kanjoos Makhichoos starring Kunal Kemmu and Shweta Tripathi Sharma is an upcoming comedy-drama movie. The makers have dropped the poster of the film and have also announced the trailer release date.

The latest poster sees Kunal and Shweta standing under a black umbrella, which is half broken. Both of them are looking up, while a kid standing in front of them is looking straight into the camera with a very confused expression. Kunal is dressed up as an average Indian man, while Shweta looks gorgeous decked up as an average Indian woman sporting a normal saree.

Shweta took to her social media handle to share the latest poster and also unveiled that trailer of the forthcoming flick is going to be out tomorrow, i.e., Monday, March 13, 2023. The diva also unveiled the release of the movie in her Instagram post that reads, "Ek kanjoos ki kahani, jis mein entertainment aur drama ki koi kanjoosi nahi hai #KanjoosMakhichoos premieres 24th March on #ZEE5 Trailer out tomorrow! (sic)."

A lot of celebrity friends congratulated the Mirzapur star and dropped adorable messages in the comment section of her IG post.

Kunal's appearance as a middle-class man surely reminds us of his 2020 film titled Lootcase. However, Kanjoos Makhichoos is officially adapted from a famous Gujarati play named Sajan Re Jhooth Mat Bolo.

Directed by Vipul Mehta, the upcoming film also has Piyush Mishra, Alka Amin, and Rajeev Gupta in key roles.

Kanjoos Makhichoos is all set to have a direct-to-OTT release on March 24 on ZEE5.

Apart from Kanjoos Makhichoos, Kunal is also gearing up to be seen in Farhad Samji's one-of-a-kind comedy-drama series named Pop Kaun? along with Johnny Lever, Satish Kaushik, Saurabh Shukla, Nupur Sanon, Jamie Lever, and Chunky Panday among others on Disney+ Hotstar on March 17.

Meanwhile, Shweta will be seen in Amazon Prime Video's Mirzapur season 3 alongside Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Rasika Duggal and others later. She is also gearing up for the filming of a movie called Ticket To Bollywood, which is currently in the pre-production stage.
