Kankhajura season 1 - Ashu or Max, who is the real gangster?

The biggest question you'd be left asking by the time Kankhajura ends is, who among Ashu and Max is the real gangster? Although Ashu proved to be deadly given his innocence, Max found his turning point with the one episode. As a leading builder, Mohit Raina's Max is a pro-manipulator (who had manipulated Ashu even 14 years back into murder). He had his secrets hidden throughout the series, only for it all to unfold towards the ending. Seeking an apology from Ashu for all of his wrongdoings, Max instantly reminded Ashu about how he was never considered even a part of the family from the word go. Just as Ashu attacked Max and they got separated, Max thought he smelled freedom, unaware that Ashu had already laid a trap for his long-time frenemy. This time it was personal, because Ashu knew who he had by his side throughout, and this person could throw Max off his game. She did exactly that. Meet Max Builders new CEO, Nisha aka Max's wife (Sarah Jane Dias). With that, Ashu's revenge was complete. Max was back in prison, and he could stay there for a long time to come.

The possibility of Kankhajura season 2

By the time of the finale, every viewer would understand that Max is not the one to go down easily either. He screams Ashu's name in fury, almost challenging him. If Kankhajura gets revived for season 2 (which it hints at), this would play a crucial moment. This time, Max would not only seek revenge from Ashu but make sure that it is done neat-and-clean. The big question, however, is whether that season 2 would come. Our bet is, it should, since the story surely is pending. Mahesh Shetty's Shardul wants revenge on Ashu just as much as Max, maybe worse. So, once these two forces combine, it might be game over for the ultimate 'Kankhajura,' but of course, Ashu will not go down so easily either. And that is what would make the season more interesting.
