Kankhajura OTT release date: When and where to watch Roshan Mathew-Mohit Raina's web series

Roshan Mathew (Tanlines) has teamed up with Mohit Raina (Uri) for a web series based in Goa. Titled Kankhajura, this is a suspense-thriller web series that will be out on OTT soon. Kankhajura is a web series that is SonyLIV exclusive. It is scheduled to release on the platform on May 30 at mid-night (12 am). You can stream the series with just an OTTplay Premium subscription.

What's special about Kankhajura?

From the trailer itself, one can understand that the character played by Roshan Mathew is absolutely not who he appears. This is a deadly man who knows how to manipulate any living and breathing species. If he could, he would manipulate even a tiger to eat a crocodile. Not everybody is born with such a skill, and that is what makes Kankhajura special. Of course, bringing in talented actors like Mohit Raina and Usha Nadkarni (Pavitra Rishta 2.0) into such a plot only adds a cherry to the already pretty cake.

Kankhajura (Hindi word for centipede) also stars Sarah Jane Dias, Mahesh Shetty and Ninad Kamat in pivotal roles. Trinetra Haldar brings in a special element of LGBTQAI+ to the series, for she plays herself (real-life story) on the show. The story begins with a suspected criminal getting out of prison, and working for the cops soon after. This goes on to speak lengths about the lead character, played by Roshan Mathew. Like the centipede, the character spews venom but only to its prey. It is prey itself for the bigger species and needs to seek shelter during the day to avoid such predators (or carefully plan their next move, depending on the situation). Kankhajura explores the very theme – of working in secret.
