Young actor Sathish Vajra, known for his roles in short films like Lagori, was found dead in his Bengaluru home on Saturday, June 18. Sathish was stabbed to death the previous night and the police have now held two people responsible for the murder, including his ex-brother-in-law Sudarshan.

The incident was first highlighted by the neighbor who, along with the house owner, found blood stains on the door lock of Sathish's house. They were soon prompted to check the CCTV footage which revealed a suspicious entry of two individuals the previous night around 12:30 am. They also found Sathish Vajra's vehicle being towed away by the same individuals and when the former's mobile phone was found switched off that morning, they immediately alerted the police of the Rajarajeshwari Nagar jurisdiction. The house owner provided the cops with a spare key and upon entering the house, they found Sathish lying in a pool of blood in the bedroom.

Sathish Vajra's wife passed away only a few months ago, leaving a child behind. Reportedly, the marriage took place against the will of the girl's family which put Sathish at loggerheads with them, and post the wife's passing, the family even sought the child's custody to allow him occasional visits. His wife's younger brother Sudarshan, as per reports, planned on teaching him a lesson for her death and later murdered him with the help of a friend. Sathish's throat was found slit and his abdomen gashed with the attackers rumored to have used a sickle as their weapon.

Contrary to the reports claiming that Sathish's wife committed suicide, the neighbor's media statement reveals that her death was caused by a heart-related ailment.

A massive fan of actors Darshan and Prajwal Devaraj, Sathish Vajra is said to have gotten the vocable "D-Prince" tattooed on his arm. Hailing from Mandya, he had moved to Bengaluru with the dream of becoming a bonafide movie actor and was even making small strides towards his goal. His lead role in the short film Lagori had earned him a lot of recognition on the internet and many are mourning his death right now through heartfelt comments.
