The post-Deepavali weekend is looking very good on OTT. Multiple decent films are coming your way this week. In theatres, the big release is, of course, Rakshit Shetty’s Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B, the culmination of Hemanth M Rao’s tale. If you've not watched Side A yet, check it out on Amazon Prime Video and then head to Side B. But if that's not your cup of tea, here's what else is awaiting you on OTT.

Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B

The second part of director Hemanth M Rao’s intense love story Sapta Sagaradaache Ello is finally coming to theatres this week. It was initially meant to be out only 7 weeks after the first, Side A, but there were delays in the edit, and paucity of screens that would have prevented an October 20 release. It was then pushed ahead by a week, and then some more to finally zero in on November 17. This Friday, audiences will know if any of their speculation about Manu (Rakshit Shetty) and Priya’s (Rukmini Vasanth) relationship will come true. The film also stars Chaithra J Achar, Ramesh Indira, Gopalkrishna Deshpande and Achyuth Kumar.

Ghost

Century Star Shivarajkumar’s Dasara winner was the heist thriller Ghost, directed by MG Srinivas. Released in theatres along with other biggies like Leo, Bhagavanth Kesari, Tiger Nageswara Rao and Ganpath, Ghost had a good run at the box office. While the makers did not officially reveal figures, they not only recovered costs, but also made a tidy profit too. The film, which revolves around a heist in a prison, also stars Jayaram in a pivotal role.

Chikku/Chittha

Actor Siddharth’s Tamil original Chittha is a hard-hitting film about child abduction and abuse, which he dubbed for in Kannada too. Critics widely hailed the film for its deft handling of a powerful and sensitive subject. The film’s theatrical reception was, unfortunately, not great. Nimisha Sajayan is also on the cast.

Leo

There is no confirmation yet from the streamer, but the buzz is that Thalapathy Vijay’s Lokesh Kanagaraj-directed Dasara release is dropping on Netflix this week. The speculation is strengthened by the fact that an animated film called Leo that was slated to come on the platform this week has been pushed ahead by a few days. The Tamil film Leo follows a family man called Parthipan, whose life is turned on its head when he is ‘mistaken’ for someone with a gritty past. Is it a case of mistaken identity or was he running away from his past? The film also stars Trisha, Arjun Sarja and Sanjay Ditt, among others.
