Kannappa: Amidst family feud, Manchu Manoj applauds Vishnu’s stunning climax act

Vishnu Manchu's Kannappa is finally out in the open after being in the news for the longest time. The entire industry was eager to see what Vishnu and his team had in store with this biggie. Well, the fantasy drama has opened to decent reviews. 

Manchu Manoj praises Kannappa

Manchu Manoj, the younger brother of Vishnu, watched the film in Hyderabad and had some positive things to say about the big-budget drama. Manoj stated that the film exceeded his expectations and that he never imagined his brother could deliver such a powerful performance in the climax. “Kannappa has exceeded my expectations. My father's dream has finally come true,” said Manoj.

Manoj’s comments are especially significant, given that he and his brother Vishnu have been embroiled in a bitter dispute over family property. Things escalated when Manoj was reportedly kicked out of the family home by his father and brother. He filed multiple legal cases and made harsh public statements against Vishnu. Manoj even trolled Kannappa and his brother during a press interaction, which attracted considerable attention.

However, on the day of Kannappa's release, Manoj offered his wishes without directly mentioning his brother. “My dad and his team have poured years of effort and love into this film. I’m praying it roars to blockbuster success. Can’t wait to see my little champs — Ari, Vivi, and Avram — make memories on the big screen,” he posted.

Now that he has watched the film, Manoj seems genuinely impressed. “I’ll come back and watch the film again in theaters. My dad looks great. The star cameos are amazing, and I congratulate the entire team,” said Manoj — again, without naming his brother. This small video byte has given Kannappa fresh momentum at the box office.

Kannappa has Prabhas, Akshay Kumar and Mohanlal in cameos

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa features Prabhas, Mohanlal, and Akshay Kumar in cameo roles. 

Preity Mukundan plays the female lead, and her performance is receiving praise. The film has opened strongly, and it remains to be seen how much it will collect on its first day of worldwide release.
