Kannappa movie box office collection day 2 prediction: Vishnu Manchu’s highly anticipated film, Kannappa, made its grand release in theatres on June 27, 2025. The film, featuring star cameos by the likes of Akshay Kumar and Prabhas, has made only Rs 9 crore on day 1 at the theatres, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. The much-hyped Telugu film failed to hit the double-digit mark on day 1, so are the prospects better for day 2?
The 2025 Telugu film Kannappa, helmed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and starring Vishnu Manchu in the lead, released in theatres on Friday. Vishnu Manchu’s film has managed to rake in Rs 9 crore in India net collection, across all languages, failing to hit the double figures.
Despite this, the Telugu film earned more than the Bollywood film Maa, with Kajol in the lead, which also released on Friday. With no major movie release lined up immediately, Kannappa could better its figure in the coming days.
The day 2 figures of Kannappa at the box office are just trickling in. As per Sacknilk, the film has made around Rs 5.1 crore on Saturday. We will have a clear picture only by Sunday, but as of now, the total collections stand at 14.45 crore.

The Telugu film, which brings to life a mythological tale, had been in the news for the star cameos. Telugu star Prabhas to Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, and Malayalam’s The Complete Actor Mohanlal are part of the film in cameo roles, that ensured the film made headlines across industries. The film has drawn mixed reviews from critics and audiences, with star cameos of Prabhas and Akshay Kumar getting a thumbs up. Mohanlal’s cameo, unfortunately, does not seem to have created the desired impact.
Set in Tirupati, the film revolves around Tinnaadu who is a staunch atheist but that doesn't stop him from falling for Nemali, an ardent Shiva devotee. After his family and villagers take objection to his remarks, Tinnaadu is forced to leave the village. But life sees his the divine light as the film tracks his journey to the devotional path. Preity Mukhundhan plays the female lead in the film, which also features Mohan Babu and R Sarathkumar.
