Kantara actor-director Rishab Shetty treats himself to a swanky pearl white Audi Q7, worth Rs 83 lakh

In 2022, Rishab Shetty became one of the latest well-known Indian celebrities to splurge on a brand-new set of luxurious cars. The Kannada actor spent close to Rs 83 lakh on a pearl white Audi Q7 that he added to his collection of pricey vehicles.

Pragathi, the wife of Rishabh Shetty, posted a picture of their new beast, on her Instagram page. But, this wasn't bought recently. The actor most likely purchased the SUV during the time that the images were uploaded, which was back in July of this year. Kantara’s reach is the sole reason that made the images of his car popular.

Kaatru Veliyidai-fame Aditi Rao Hydari also purchased a brand-new Audi Q7 SUV this year, but she chose the Navarra Blue Metallic shade. Returning to Rishab Shetty, it is unclear which model the actor-director purchased. Audi only provides two variations of the Q7: There is Technology and Premium Plus. The Technology is the most expensive model, costing Rs 89.90 lakh, while the Premium Plus is the least expensive at Rs 82.49 lakh.

With the release of Kantara, Rishab Shetty made the cash registers ring. After obtaining a 9.4 on IMDb, the film had a significant increase in sales, but movie buffs have been busy attempting to learn more about Kantara and the lead star.

Despite Kantara earning more than Rs 180 crore globally, with at least Rs 150 crore coming from India alone, according to India TV, Shetty received another movie offer from producer Allu Aravind. The film is on track to earn more than Rs 200 crore.

Rishab Shetty's movie is presently rated third among all Kannada movies in terms of lifetime box office earnings. It had a modest budget of between Rs 15 and Rs 16 crore.

Now, Kantara even surpassed KGF Chapter 2 and set a unique benchmark. In terms of the number of tickets sold in the South Indian state of Karnataka, the movie surpassed all others as the most popular. According to the entertainment tracking website Sacnilk.com, 77 lakh people visited theatres to watch the film. Notably, the KGF franchise roughly attracted 75 lakh people.

Kantara was dubbed into other languages after observing the resounding reception to its Kannada version, which was released in theatres on September 30. On October 14, it was released in Hindi; on October 15, in Tamil and Telugu; and on October 20, in Malayalam.

After beginning his acting career on television, Rishab Shetty made his big-screen debut in 2014 with Ulidavaru Kandante. A few years later, the Kannada actor took on the role of director, while working with the multi-talented Rakshit Shetty on the crime drama Ricky.

Shetty's wealth is, undoubtedly, growing; thanks to the success of Kantara. He has a staggering net worth of $1 million (Rs 12 crore 40 lakh).
