It has been only a couple of days since Kantara: Chapter 1 released, and the film has already entered the majestic 100-crore club. The Rishab Shetty directorial and starrer had grossed Rs 89 crore worldwide on day one (including the paid premieres the previous night), making it easily enter the prestigious and magical number 100 crore. As of now, the film's worldwide collection stands at Rs 147 crore, as per Sacnilk.

As per a report by Sacnilk, the film has made a worldwide collection of Rs 147.5 crore in just two days (and paid premieres). It had an opening of Rs 89 crore on day one, and it took only two days for the film to make Rs 100 crore, or as per the report, Rs 147.5 crore. The language-wise breakdown is led by Kannada with Rs 33 crore, followed by Telugu with Rs 25 crore. The Tamil and Malayalam versions trail with a minor difference: Rs 10 crore and Rs 9.25 crore, respectively.
Kantara: Chapter 1 also becomes the highest grossing Kannada film, if the animated film Mahavatar Narsimha not taken into account.
