Not just Telugu or Kannada, the movie maintained its record in the Hindi language as well. After completing a ten-day run, Kantara earned around 38 crore in its net collection in India in all the languages, according to Sacnilk’s early estimates. In Hindi alone it minted 14-15 crore net (early estimates), which is double the amount of its previous day. Comparing the numbers, it is safe to say that Kantara Chapter 1 is set to maintain the pace on the second Sunday. Kantara Chapter 1 minted Rs 397.65 crore in the overall net collection across India and Rs 130 crore in Hindi.

Kantara Chapter 1 Hindi collection overtakes Baahubali

Kantara Chapter 1 is garnering praise for its spectacular cinematography and performances. The Kannada movie has sparked excitement not just in the South but also in the Hindi box office as it continues to grow and shatter records previously set by blockbusters like Pushpa and Bahubali. Kantara's prequel turned up the heat with its impressive performance at the box office. It has now knocked out SS Rajamouli’s period action drama, Baahubali, by breaking down its lifetime record of Rs 118.5 crore in Hindi in just 10 days of its premiere. Kantara Chapter 1 has collected Rs 130 crore, which is clearly greater than Prabhas’s film.

As per the analysis by industry tracker Sacnilk, Kantara maintained its earnings and occupancy even after entering the second week. The overall Hindi occupancy rate on Day 10 of Kantara Chapter 1 was 32.84% on October 11. It had an occupancy of 16.89% for morning shows, while the afternoon shows had a spike with 29.61%, followed by the evening shows with 34.89% occupancy. The night shows witnessed the highest occupancy of the day with 49.96%.
