The official week 2 stats of Kantara Chapter 1 are in. According to the makers, at the end of 2 weeks, the Kantara prequel had registered worldwide collections of Rs 717.5 cr, an increase of Rs 208.25 cr from its week 1 Rs 509.25 cr. What’s interesting is that the week 2 collections can be almost completely attributed to the domestic market, with trackers estimating that the second week all-India gross was Rs 176.25, placing overseas collections at Rs 32 cr only.

In comparison, KGF: Chapter 2 reported Rs 223.51 cr in its week 2 worldwide gross revenue of which Rs 185.5 cr was the domestic haul, with a marginally better overseas contribution at Rs 38 cr.
