Kannada star Rishab Shetty is basking in the success of his much-talked-about film Kantara Chapter 1, which is enjoying a good run in the theatres. The noted Kannada actor-director recently graced Kaun Banega Crorepati, which is hosted by iconic Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan. Rishab Shetty is winning much love for his interaction with the Big B and how he entered the show in style, that too rendering Mohanlal’s iconic dialogue 'Entha mone Dinesha...'.

Popular Hindi quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati (streaming on SonyLiv and OTTplay Premium) is also noted for celebrities who take the hot seat and interact with Big B. The latest celeb contestant to enter KBC is Rishab Shetty. The Kannada actor turned up in a black shirt and a mundu, and pulled off ‘a Mohanlal’ as he tied the dhothi in the signature style of Malayalam's Complete Actor. Not just that, Rishab also said ‘Entha mone Dineshaa…’, Mohanlal’s iconic dialogue from the 2000 Malayalam film Narasimham.

The mass action was applauded by viewers, even as Amitabh Bachchan exclaimed ‘Sabhaash’. The Kannada actor also gifted Big B the traditional mundu or dhothi. Big B promised to wear the mundu but added jovially that one needs to do it properly, “Varna mamala international ho jayega.” (roughly meaning that if the mundu is not tied properly, one would be left embarrassed).

Lalettan fans are also excited to see Rishab Shetty rendering Mohanlal’s dialogue, with one netizen commenting that the Kannada actor is “truly a big Mohanlal fan”.

On the other hand, Kantara Chapter 1, which released in the theatres on October 2, 2025, has collected Rs 451.90 crore in India net collections, as per Sacnilk. Apart from starring in the film, Rishab Shetty has also written and directed the 2025 film, which is the prequel to his 2022 highly acclaimed film Kantara. The film also stars Rukmini Vasanth, along with Gulshan Devaiah and Malayalam actor Jayaram.
