'Kantara' Rishab Shetty's lovely birthday wish to wife Pragathi Shetty wins netizens over

There's no doubt that Pragathi Shetty has had a major role to play in her husband and filmmaker Rishab Shetty's accomplishments. Many would know that Pragathi has collaborated with Rishab as a costume designer on multiple projects and her work in Bell Bottom and the more recent Kantara has not only stood out on its own merit but also helped bolster Rishab Shetty's career as an actor. In the same vein, she has also shared his vision and passion for cinema and has been a consistent creative presence in each of his main endeavours. Rishab Shetty, too, has never shied from attributing his success to his wife's undying support and encouragement and for this and many other reasons, the two are adored as a couple by their fans and followers.

So, when Rishab would pen a thoughtful and endearing note for his wife on her birthday, it was inevitable that the netizens would be charmed. When the actor-director took to social media a short while ago, on March 1st, his followers would join him in wishing her a happy birthday which added to the joy.

"Happiest Birthday to my Sweetheart ♥️ Cannot thank you enough for your everlasting support and for being the Pillar of Strength to me and my work," wrote Rishab in his tweet. His followers, too, joined in on the celebrations and posted endearing birthday wishes to Pragathi.

"Your costume & tribal looks are one of the best work in Kantara. Well done by madam. Happy Birthday 💐" wrote another, acknowledging her prominent presence in the stellar success of Kantara.

Pragathi and Rishab Shetty are said to have met each other during the premiere of the latter's debut directorial, Ricky. "I was a big Rakshit Shetty fan and, to be honest, I wasn't even aware of the fact that Rishab had directed Ricky! My friends and I went to the premiere and I found Rishab in a corner and that's where we met. I suppose it's all destiny, we were meant to be together and the premiere show ended up being the opportunity we needed to meet one another," said Pragathi in a recent interview. The two would get married about a year later and welcomed their first child, boy Ranvit, in 2019 and their daughter Raadya in March of 2022.
