Kantara, Vikrant Rona composer Ajaneesh Loknath roped in for Sai Dharam Tej's next with Karthik Dandu

Sai Dharam Tej, who won immense applause for his composed performance in Deva Katta's Republic earlier, is well and truly back in action after a life-threatening accident last year. He's been continuously shooting for his untitled film to be directed by Karthik Dandu, a former protege of Rangasthalam, Pushpa filmmaker Sukumar. The film is a mystical thriller in the making bankrolled by BVSN Prasad under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra in collaboration with Sukumar Writings.

Samyuktha Menon, the actress who shot to fame with consecutive hits including Bheemla Nayak and Bimbisara, plays the female lead in the thriller that went on floors earlier this year. The makers of the project today came up with a surprising update - in-form composer Ajaneesh Loknath, who shot to fame with popular Kannada films like Vikrant Rona and Kantara recently has been roped in for the music. The presence of Ajaneesh certainly contributes to the intrigue around the project.

The team also shared a picture where Sai Dharam Tej is welcoming Ajaneesh to the team. Shamdat Sainudeen, who last worked for Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga and earned praise for Uppena, cranks the camera for the film. National award-winning technician Navin Nooli is the editor of the film. Interestingly, Sukumar himself is providing the screenplay to the much-anticipated project which is expected to release in the early half of 2023.

Ajaneesh, who made his Kannada debut with Shishira went onto work in several acclaimed films like Ulidavaru Kandanthe, Rangitaranga, Kirik Party, Nimir and made his Telugu debut with Kirrak Party (the Telugu remake of Kirik Party).His other projects in Telugu include Rajaratham and Nannu Dochukunduvate. While Vikrant Rona and Kantara are his major releases in 2022, his upcoming films include Gandhada Gudi and Banaras.
