Kapil Sharma: I’m Not Done Yet promo: Comedian reveals how he proposed to wife Ginni Chatrath, latter has epic response

Since the time Netflix India announced Kapil Sharma's stand-up special I’m Not Done Yet, fans just can't keep calm. Every other day, the streaming platform shares short videos from the show, and it will leave you as excited as ever. In the latest video, Kapil reveals his "romantic" love story with now-wife Ginni Chatrath. The comedian-actor revealed how he proposed to her for marriage.

In the video, Kapil shares that she was one of his favourite actors during their theatre days, and Ginni used to always update him about everything. The comedian went on to say that after gulping down alcohol, he got the courage to ask her out. Kapil even quipped that he was relieved for not consuming toddy as he would have asked Ginni if her father wanted a driver instead.

Soon after that, the comedian asks Ginni what made him say yes to Kapil, as she comes from a wealthy family. His wife pulled his leg by saying that she wanted to do a charity for this poor guy. 

About the stand-up special: Kapil Sharma has been entertaining us for a long time, from the streets of Amritsar to the sets of Mumbai, and he isn't done yet! The fan-favourite comedian is ready to tickle your funny bone once more, this time on Netflix with his first comedy special. Kapil Sharma: I'm Not Done Yet depicts Kapil in a previously unseen role. 

For the uninitiated, Kapil and Ginni tied the knot in 2018 after a courtship of many years. The couple is blessed with two children: daughter Anayra Sharma and son Trishaan Sharma. 

With this, Kapil is making his OTT debut and getting back into the stand-up space after a long time. The show will be streamed on January 28, 2022.
