Kapil Sharma-Nandita Das’ Zwigato to premiere at TIFF – see official poster

Kapil Sharma’s upcoming movie Zwigato is going to premiere at Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) soon. Through that, the film will not only have an Indian but a world premiere. The movie is helmed by Nanditta Das and features Shahana Goswami as the female lead.

Zwigato will premiere at TIFF 2022 in the ‘Contemporary World Cinema’ section. The official date of its premiere is yet to be confirmed.

Kapil shared the poster of this film, whose story has been penned by Nandita herself. In the poster, he looks at pizza boxes through a phone, where the best notification ever – “Your order has arrived” – appears.

Zwigato features Kapil as a food delivery executive. It talks about his life story and how he comes from a struggling background but does not give up on his job no matter the circumstance.

The movie has been backed by Applause Entertainment in association with Nandita. It is the first time that Kapil would be going to TIFF with them.

The comedian Kapil Sharma became popular on Television because of his stand-up comedy on shows like Great Indian Laughter Challenge, followed by his own shows Comedy Nights With Kapil and now, The Kapil Sharma Show.

Kapil worked in various movies before Zwigato. His most notable films were Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon and Firangi.
