Kapil Sharma, who hosted the trailer launch of his upcoming movie Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, shared his memories with Dharmendra at the stage. When asked to talk about the veteran actor, he recalled how Dharmendra turned up as the first ever guest on his successful TV show, Comedy Nights With Kapil.

When asked about his memories with Dharmendra, Kapil Sharma shared his first meeting with the veteran actor. He recalled his first meeting and shared, "Dharam ji aur main - sab jaante hai mere liye kya the. It feels like one of my own is gone. My father passed away at 22. Before I came to Mumbai, I didn't know anyone. I met Dharam paaji when going to Toronto and he entertained us instead. I told him about my show launching and how I would want him. He instantly told his assistant to treat me like his son and give me priority." With that, Kapil expressed love for the veteran actor.

Dharmendra was hospitalized earlier in November after complaining of breathlessness. The superstar Deol was receiving treatment. This is when news of his demise first broke. However, Hema Malini and Esha Deol ensured that he is responding to treatment. Soon after, the veteran actor was discharged from the hospital and received treatment at home. A media statement on November 24 confirmed the actor's demise. He was cremated soon after.
Kapil Sharma's Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 is a sequel to his acting debut project. The movie sees his character stuck in a marriage with four women. These women are played by Warina Hussain, Tridha Choudhary, Ayesha Khan and Parul Gulati. Directed by Anukalp Goswami, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 will release in theatres on December 12. This will be followed by its OTT release on JioHotstar via OTTplay Premium.
