The makers of the upcoming Malayalam movie, Karam, have unveiled its trailer today (August 21). Many moviegoers and fans of Vineeth Sreenivasan would be taken away because the trailer suggests a high-octane, action-packed thriller.

In the two minute and eight seconds video, Noble Babu Thomas plays Dev, an officer who receives a warning to protect his life and the lives of those close to him. A peek of his turbulent childhood is soon shown, particularly that of his stern father, who has caused him a great deal of trauma in the past. Overall, the trailer makes it very evident that Vineeth has chosen a different path for this movie, one that is completely distinct from his previous works.
Known mostly for his entertaining films that examine love and friendship, Vineeth is making his maiden foray into the action thriller genre. After the release of Varshangalkku Shesham, which is available for multilingual viewing on Sony LIV and OTTplay Premium, he immediately revealed this collaboration with Noble Babu Thomas. Thira, Thattathin Marayath, and Hridayam are among the actor's previous directing credits.
Karam release date update
The action thriller will be released on September 25. The title, release date, and a glimpse of the main character in action was revealed in the most recent poster. Meanwhile, the director confirmed that the plot will neither be set in Chennai or have any link to the city, in contrast to his previous works. Vineeth posted this in response to a fan's social media comment. Under the auspices of Merryland Cinemas and Habit of Life, Visakh Subramaniam and Vineeth Sreenivasan have financed the film.
Noble Babu Thomas has penned the screenplay for this movie, which also stars Manoj K Jayan, Reshma Sebastian and others in pivotal roles. Jomon T John ISC is the cinematographer, while Ranjan Abraham has helmed the edit works. Shaan Rahman has composed the original score and soundtracks for this project.
