If news reports are to be believed, Hiroo Johar is celebrating her 81st birthday today. Though we don’t know the exact age, it is, however, evident that the filmmaker is ready to celebrate the day. Beginning the day joyfully, Karan dropped a long message on his Instagram handle which read, “Mothers are a force of nature…. They take unconditional love to a level that is almost unreal…. I am blessed to have a mother who grounded me and made me believe that professional achievements don’t define us … our behaviour does…”

“Love you Mom and happy birthday … thank you for bringing me into this world and also becoming my world…,” he wrapped up. Lakhs of Instagrammers have liked the post. Also, do not miss an attached photo in the post which shows how adorably Karan kissed his mother on the cheek.

Katrina Kaif, Farah Khan, Saba Pataudi, Manish Malhotra, Soni Razdan, and countless Bollywood celebrities have greeted Karan’s mother in the comments section.

Yash and Roohi, too, wished their grandma on the occasion. For the unfamiliar, Karan is a single parent to twins, Yash and Roohi. He welcomed them via surrogacy in 2017.

Karan – who has often made films around family drama like Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham..., Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, clearly knows the value of family bonds.

Last year, during a chat with author Twinkle Khanna, Karan expressed whether he feels lonely seeing his friends roaming around with their respective companions. He smiled and said, “After so many years of being single, I realized I am so used to being the master of my day and night. I feel like I am only accountable to my two children and mum. I don’t want to bring in any other person anymore.”
