Karan Johar clears the air about reports of him signing a three-film deal with Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, according to rumours making the rounds online, have a three-film deal with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The media was buzzing and the couple's fans were thrilled to see their real-life romance on film. The duo was previously cast by KJo's Dharma Productions in the acclaimed war drama Shershaah. They fell in love as a result of the movie, and critics praised them for their acting. When asked, Karan Johar, however, denied all of these claims.

When asked by the media if the director had a three-film deal with the couple, Karan Johar responded, "Not at all." This unambiguous statement dispels all rumours regarding the claims. A Dharma Productions insider also denied the claims, saying that Sidharth and Kiara are so close to Karan that they are exempt from signing a contract. He was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla, “The couple never discussed money or contracts with Karan before they were married. Why should they do so now? All he has to do is ask them. And they will be a part of any film he offers them.”

On February 7th, Kiara and Sidharth exchanged vows at Jaisalmer's Suryagarh Palace. The couple was joined by their close friends and family for a lavish wedding ceremony. Throughout the wedding, filmmaker Karan Johar was present. Karan shared a statement detailing his thoughts on the newlyweds after the wedding. 

Sharing a stunning wedding photo, Karan recalled the first time he met Sidharth. He wrote, “I met him a decade and a half ago…. Silent, strong, and still so sensitive…. I met her many years after… silent, strong and so sensitive in equal measure…Then they met each other and I realised in that moment that these two pillars of strength and dignity can make an irreplaceable bond and create the most magical love story together…. Watching them is a fairy tale that is rooted in tradition and family…”
