Babil Khan recently took to his Instagram Stories and shared an emotional crying video where he was seen saying Bollywood is fake and also took some actors' names, such as Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav, Arjun Kapoor, and singer Arijit Singh. The video spread like wildfire, and Babil deleted it, after which his family and team shared a statement saying the video was misinterpreted and was taken out of context. Now, in a new interview, Karan Johar reacted to Babil's video.
In an interview with Galatta Plus, Karan Johar was asked to share his thoughts on Babil Khan's now-deleted crying video. The filmmaker said, "I felt as bad as people did as a parent when I saw Babil’s meltdown. I felt terrible because I also have a son and a daughter."

Soon after Babil deleted his video, his family and team shared a joint statement stating that the video of Babil has been widely misinterpreted and taken out of context. "His mention of artists like Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav, Arjun Kapoor, and Arijit Singh came from a place of genuine admiration — for their authenticity, passion, and efforts to restore credibility and heart in the industry," the statement further read.
Notably, Ananya Panday, Raghav Juyal, and Siddhant Chaturvedi also expressed their love and extended their support for Babil.
