Karate Girls is scheduled to release it a day. It will be out on Friday, December 13.
Karate Girls is an Amazon MX Player release. The show is available for streaming without any subscription and is free for all.
Apart from Ashlesha, Karate Girls stars Celesti Bairagey, Manav Gohil and Meiyang Chang. The series features Manav vs Meiyang. The former has been constantly winning, and the latter wants a rematch.
Manav plays Ashlesha's father on the show, and has his life in turmoil. The series promises to see her life unfold in the midst of all the drama. As per the trailer, she plays a rebel teen who has no interest in following trends. She, in fact, has no time for drama and thus, bites back at people who cause it. There’s even a moment where she deals with a cop who questions her temper. “Gussa jaata nahi hai mera,” she is heard saying back, thus setting the tone for the series. Of course, with such level of angst, she aims to become the best in the sport she is pursuing – karate. Moreover, Abha (Ashlesha’s character name) cannot stand people who do not take the sport seriously and gives it back to them. “Tu reel bana Baby Doll, Karate chodh de,” she tells her fellow karate participant.
The show follows the Karate competition between the two teams led by Manav and Meiyang. At the same time, Ashlesha’s Abha finds it her way out and live the life she aims to live. Will her dream come true? Find out.
