Not that we are complaining, but the banter between Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aamir Khan on Karan Johar’s chat show was a lot to handle… cuteness-wise, that is! The A-listers, who will soon be seen in the much-anticipated Advait Chandan directorial Laal Singh Chaddha graced the latest episode of Koffee With Karan season 7. They trolled each other to the point of Kareena calling Aamir a ‘bore’.
Kareena and Karan, who are childhood buddies, made fun of Aamir for being an absolute ‘party pooper’ and mocked him over how he behaves at parties: talking to only a select few while standing in one corner.
The K3G maker also took a dig at Bebo for not keeping up with all the juicy Bollywood gossip anymore, before adding that Aamir “has no clue”.
Not the one to shy away from such conversations, Kareena then pivoted from the topic, by saying, “I feel Aamir is a very big actor that he is boring. The actual thing is that he just acts that he is boring."
Agreeing with Kareena, Karan said that the Dangal star prefers to speak with only a few people and stays away from where the music is playing. “You are rather boring at a party,” Karan quipped.
“You put him in a party of 200 people, he wants to run right away. You are a bit of a party pooper,” said Karan. The chat then focused on how Kareena Kapoor Khan doesn’t care about the box office figures of her movies anymore, as she is ‘a bonafide’ star in her own right.
Aamir, however, had a different point of view on this statement. He said, “Kareena is very concerned about her films,” before adding that she’s been going on about how certain aspects of the film’s publicity were not as per her liking.
He also revealed that she always shouts at him and has been scolding him for over two months now for something or the other.
Surprisingly, Kareena Kapoor Khan, who plays Aamir Khan’s love interest in Laal Singh Chaddha, is yet to watch the upcoming release and in fact, doesn’t watch most of her own films. “She’s so proud about it,” Aamir said, jokingly.
For the uninitiated, Laal Singh Chaddha will hit the theatres on August 11, 2022. It is the official Hindi remake of Tom Hanks’ Oscar-winning 1993 movie Forrest Gump.
