In a career spanning more than two decades, Kareena Kapoor Khan has played some of the most memorable roles, like Pia Sahastrabuddhe in 3 Idiots, Geet in Jab We Met, Poo in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and Naaz in Refugee. The actor acknowledges that because of the pressure to perform, she is constantly in competition with herself.

When asked if she feels pressure to improve with each character she plays, Kareena responded to IANS that there's always pressure to perform since a 22-year career is not possible without it. The goal is to maintain one's authenticity off-screen while continually attempting to reinvent oneself on-screen. She really loves playing various personalities and takes pleasure in the performing process.

The iconic Forrest Gump movie adaptation, Laal Singh Chaddha, starring the 41-year-old actor, was recently released. She declared her passion for her line of work.

Kareena added that she loves acting. Although it is a part of who she is, she makes an effort to set her films apart from the competition. This is the third time she has worked with Aamir Khan, although 3 Idiots, Talaash, and Laal Singh Chaddha are all very different. Combining all three characters into a single stream is impossible as they are entirely different individuals. That, in her opinion, has always been the goal of trying to change something.

Kareena discussed her concerns over Laal Singh Chaddha and the movie starring Tom Hanks being compared in the context of the movie.

She said that it's an official adaptation. It was penned by Atul Kulkarni, and she finds it to be quite beautiful. Kareena also said that the adaptation has increased the film's depth and emotional range. Since it is an official adaptation, there can be no comparisons. It's written in another language. Two different performers are there, and they modified it to suit Indian audiences. People are going to love it, in her opinion.
